Why we need to structure an action using facts…

Going into Battle with very little information about your adversary is a foolish act, there is a high probability you will not be victorious.

All of your life you will be making decisions and defending your position purely driven by the assumptions of someone else. At this point you have options, ether react or gain facts. To react in most cases will fuel the fire, adding emotion, feelings and views into the mix, this in turn will transform the small fire you have into an inferno.

The smart way to extinguish the fire is to remove the fuel, seek out the reasons for the fire starting in the first place and drive your behaviour based on the facts you uncover. This style of fire fighting shows you to be a structured, strategic thinker, someone who will seek to understand before being understood.

Solutions will come quick, allies will be made and fires will be rarely seen. Lets face it who wants to take on a strategic thinker who has an army of fire engines…

Want to unlock the strategic thinker in you? then let me know…
